Yes, this is the question. Many operators do struggle with this, since they do not have good business process, knowledge or personnel to handle these issues. Most operators has been founded (or transformed from PTT's) to become profitable growth- and expansion engines for it’s owners. In this scenario- Asset Recovery projects tends swipe out of focus, from obvious reasons.   
How to help the operator to release cash from idle equipment and production assets?
  • Scope the potential
  • Start with one pilot project
  • Measure the results and financial gains 
  •  Adjust and copy the successes
  • Scope future returns based on accessible equipment and previous results
  • Assign an internal champion to every Asset Recovery projects and measure him/her on the results.
